Introduction to the Course
- In this course you will be reading rapidly through the
book of Genesis. The course concentrates on vocabulary,
grammar and general reading fluency. An introduction to
the esoteric field of Old Testament text criticism will
be included, however due to curricular issues, references
to the Septuagint will be kept to a minimum. On the other
hand, Samaritan Pentateuch and Qumran materials will be
introduced. The seminarian will also be taught how to
write an exegetical paper on Hebrew - Narrative - Old
