Wikis in eLearning

Wikis may provide alternative activities for eLearning that can be helpful to learners and teachers alike. Wes Fryer gave a presentation entitled “Get Wiki With It! Using Wikis for Collaboration and Learning.” He writes a about a brainstorming session there where wiki usage was discussed at: Ways to use a wiki and a list of links are at: Teach Digital: Curriculum by Wes Fryer.

I have been using a wiki assignment in my Introduction to the Old Testament course via the CMS, Moodle. However, I am not satisfied with the wiki function in Moodle. It seems to me that a dedicated teaching wiki may be more useful.
