Google Books Search Will Change but only in the USA

The announcement that Google struck an agreement with the Authors Guild, the Association of American Publishers and a handful of authors and publishers has been greeted with guarded approval (Listen to Digital Campus: Episode 33 – Classroom Action Settlement. The ramifications have been posted at the Google site: The Future of Google Book Search. The problem however is that this agreement only pertains to the USA and not other countries.

  1. Wow. I am excited to see more out of print books coming online. This is definitely a good thing for scholarship.
